A man’s gift makes room for him, And brings him before great men. – Proverbs 18:16 – NKJV
“A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.”
This verse is typically interpreted to mean that we should be faithful to use the gifts that God has given us and that as we use them our faith will be strengthened. However, a closer look at the context yields a very different lesson.
